Alice Elizabeth Smith Chapman was born in Denver, Colorado 10/29/1967. To her credit, she achieved many things in her lifetime. She was the youngest licensed bondsman licensed in her home state. She met and ultimately married Duane "Dog" Chapman. They shared 12 children. Many of whom were cast members on the hit A&E series Dog The Bounty Hunter.

She later went on to star in Dog and Beth on The Hunt from 2013-2015. She was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx mid-way through 2017. A&E filmed her struggle in Dog and Beth, Fight of Their Lives which aired late 2017.  At the time, it was thought that she was cancer free. She underwent an additional surgery late 2018 in Los Angeles, California after it was discovered that the cancer had returned.

During this time, she and her husband developed the series Dog's Most Wanted which premiered September 4th, 2019 on WGN America. Mrs. Chapman passed away June 26th, 2019 at the age of 51.
